Henna was born in Lahti, Finland in 1977.

In 1997 she moved to England to study fashion design at Winchester School of Art. Whilst studying she interned at Dazed & Confused magazine. After graduating with BA in Fashion Design in 2000 Henna started her styling career as a contributing fashion editor for the Finnish fashion and lifestyle magazines Image and Pap.

From 2000-2004 she started building her styling career both in Helsinki and London, working mainly with her mentor photographer Lauri Eriksson and assisting stylist Panos Yiapanis.

Since 2004 she is based in Helsinki but working worldwide for Nokia, Stockmann department store, Elle Finland, Gloria, Trendi and Image magazines. Which has given her the opportunity to style such people as: Dree Hemingway, Lou Doillon, Suvi Koponen and Hailey Clauson.

She draws inspiration for her strong signature style from her other passions: the Woodstock era, French movies, shamanistic cultures, nature, Helmut Newton and the erotic (photography..)
